The Belt and Road Initiative Is Shaping a Shared 21st Century
  Ruan Zongze
The Belt and Road Initiative has gone from blueprint to practice, from vision to reality, becoming the world's most popular public goods and opening up a new era of win-win cooperation. It vividly translates China's diplomatic thinking into an important action platform, in which a new type of international relations and a community with a shared future for mankind in the 21st century can be built.

  Wang Xuejun
For China and African states, synergizing their development plans and making joint efforts on the Belt and Road Initiative has become the strategic choice to enhance their relations in the new era. Japan's Policy towards the WTO Reform
  Ni Yueju
As the third largest economy in the world and a major beneficiary of the multilateral free trade system, Japan has adopted a two-track strategy toward WTO reform. While working with the EU and the US to improve the standards of existing international trade rules, it is also maximizing its interests to dominate the high-standard direction of mega-FTAs through bilateral and regional agreements.

The EU's Push for WTO Reform: Proposals, Paths and Impacts
  Shi Yan
Relying on its status and influence in the WTO, the EU has demonstrated initiative, flexibility and leadership in promoting WTO reform, thus helping reverse the tendency of trade protectionism and escalation of trade frictions, and maintaining the framework of the multilateral trading system, but there are also great limitations in the EU's proposals which makes it difficult to solve the WTO's fundamental contradictions.

The United States' Role in WTO Reform
  Chen Fengying & Sun Lipeng
Intent on creating an "America First" international trading system, the US is conducting an unparalleled and subversive reform of the WTO, which is bound to erode the multilateral free trade system and deal an unprecedented blow to the WTO. Rather than abandoning the accomplishments and making a fresh start, the WTO's main objectives and principles should be upheld in the course of reform.

Obstacles to its further progress remain due to deep structural contradictions, but there are new and to some extent irreversible factors that guide the situation in a favorable direction.

Denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula: Opportunities, Challenges and Prospects
  Wu Jingjing
The recent DPRK-US summits have generated a new opportunity for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, but differences between the two sides are still stark and difficult to resolve. Denuclearization is possible but will not be a smooth process, and the two sides shall learn from the history and avoid committing errors of the past.

Institutional Approaches to Deepening China-Nordic Sub-Regional Cooperation
  Zhang Weipeng & Yu Xiaofeng
The bilateral ties between China and the Nordic countries are becoming closer and their multilateral cooperation is taking increasingly diverse forms. In view of the high compatibility of the two sides' development strategies and the complementarity of their resource endowments, it is imperative to institutionalize Sino-Nordic sub-regional cooperation.

Space Strategy of the Trump Administration
  He Qisong
With a distinct personal feature, the United States' space strategy under the Trump administration aims at ensuring its space leadership, expanding the space economy and enforcing its space military power. It will have a significant impact on American science and technology, economy, and on international security and space governance if implemented.
