On December 8, CIIS held the14th China-ROK-Japan TrilateralCooperationForum. More than 20 scholars from CIIS, Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) and Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security(IFANS, KNDA) attended the forum in an online format. CIIS Executive Vice President RUAN Zongze, Acting Director General of JIIA Tomiko Ichikawa, President of IFANS, KNDA OH Youngju delivered opening remarks. CIIS Vice President LIU Qing, Acting Director General Tomiko Ichikawa and Director-General KIM Young-moo, Department. of Asian and Pacific Studies, IFANS of KNDA, co-chaired the forum. The participants conducted in-depth discussions on topics of new developments of the situation in the Asia-Pacific, economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific during and after the Pandemic, and new opportunities for China-ROK-Japan cultural and people-to-people Exchanges.
The Trilateral Cooperation Forum has been held for 14 consecutive years since 2008.
