CIIS releases report on China’s AI governance

The China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) released the research report entitled AI Governance in China: Philosophy, Practices and Implications at the 2026 Global Governance Forum (Xiong’an) on Oct 24.
Jointly authored by CIIS and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), the report provides a comprehensive analysis of China’s approach to AI governance from three perspectives: the global AI governance ecosystem and China’s practices, key directions of AI governance in China, and the global implications of China’s AI governance.
The report aims to enhance readers’ understanding of China’s philosophy and practices of AI governance and promote dialogue, exchange, and mutual learning.
