On Feb.18th, 2023, China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) and National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) co-hosted CIIS-NCAFP Dialogue. Amb. XU Bu, President and Senior Research Fellow of CIIS, and Mr. Jeffery Shafer, Chairman of the Board of NCAFP, attended the dialogue and delivered opening remarks. Amb. XU Bu, President of CIIS, and Susan A. THORNTON, Project Director of Forum on Asia-Pacific Security at NCAFP, moderated the meeting. Senior experts and scholars from Chinese and US sides held in-depth discussion on promoting sound and steady development of China-US relations.
Participants include experts and scholars from NCAFP, Brookings Institution, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Florida International University, University of Pennsylvania, Nanjing University, Peking University, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Tsinghua University, and CIIS.
