On October 27, the 15th China-Japan-ROK Trilateral Cooperation Forum was successfully held online. The forum was co-hosted by China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) and Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS,KNDA). Amb. Xu Bu, President of CIIS, Mrs. Tomiko Ichikawa, Acting Director General of JIIA and Amb. LEE Choongmyon, President of IFANS attended the meeting and delivered opening remarks respectively. Scholars and researchers from the three countries exchanged views over the themes of the new trends of security and economic development in the Asia-Pacific region and explored new areas of trilateral cooperation.
The Trilateral Cooperation Forum was initiated by CIIS, JIIA and IFANS in 2008.
