CURRICULUM VITAE

Mr. DONG Manyuan has been associated with China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) since 1987. He is a senior research fellow specialized in Middle East studies and ethnic issues. From 1993 to 1997, he served as Second Secretary in Chinese Embassy in Egypt. From 1999 to 2002, he was First Secretary and Director of the Political Affairs Office of Chinese Embassy in Turkey. He has ever been Director for Developing Countries Studies, Director for EU Studies, Director for International Strategic Studies at CIIS andEditor-in-chief of the CIIS Journal— International Studies.Mr. Donggraduated from English Department of Inner Mongolia Normal University, Huanghe University and Peking University in 1985, 1987 and 2007 respectively, getting a BA in English literature and a MA inInternational Relations.He has published many articles.
