  Fostering a Security Concept for a New Asia

  Asia is displaying tremendous development vitality and potential, it also faces various security threats and weak security mechanisms. It is necessary that all parties consolidate the foundation for development, adhere to the principle of equality, strengthen mutual trust and intensify cooperation under the guidance of a new and unified security concept, in an effort to create a regional security environment characterized by peace, development, cooperation and win-win results.
  
  Building Sino-American Strategic Trust: Time to Serve New Fare

  Sino-American relationship is far from perfect. China and the US have tried many techniques to build trust. To date, though, many of these mechanisms have failed to produce a meaningful level of trust. The author reviews briefly some of the trust-building mechanisms that China and the US currently favor, and then proposes some new measures for bolstering trust as well as some modifications to extant mechanisms.
