On September 8, CIIS and Asan Institute for Policy Studies jointly held a bilateral seminar on "The Changing Security Environment in Northeast Asia and China-South Korea Relations" in Beijing. CIIS President Chen Bo and President Choi Kang of Asan Institute for Policy Studies delivered opening remarks. More than 10 experts and scholars from CIIS, China Foundation for International Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China University of Political Science and Law, Asan Institute for Policy Studies of Korea, Catholic University of Korea, Ajou University and other institutions attended the meeting and shared profound insights into the security situation in Northeast Asia, the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue and China-ROK relations.
