On June 15, CIIS Vice President Liu Qing met with a delegation of South Korean MPs, led by Mr. Kim Tae-nyeon,from Democratic Party of Korea. The two sides conducted frank and in-depth exchanges on China–South Korean relations and international situation.
Both sides agreed that over the past 30 years China and South Korea have overcome ideological differences and persistently strengthened practical cooperation in various fields. Recently, China–South Korea relationship has unfortunately experienced some difficulties. In the coming future, both countries should properly manage differences and work together to push bilateral relations back to the right track with healthy and stable development.
