On July 7, the 2nd Plenary Conference of Global Partnership Center of CEECs and China (GPC) was successfully held online. The heads of GPC dual-presidential institutes delivered opening speeches respectively. Representatives of GPC member institutes from Central and Eastern European Countries and China conducted in-depth discussions on the experiences in fighting against COVID-19, cooperation opportunities in the post-pandemic era, and the work plan of GPC.
The GPC was formally inaugurated during the 8th Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) held in 2019. CIIS and Bulgarian Institute of Marketing are the dual-presidential institutes of GPC. The GPC is a non-governmental, non-profit “think-tank” type of cooperation mechanism, which aims to provide policy, legal advice and intellectual support for the pragmatic cooperation between enterprises of both sides.
