The Proceedings of International Virtual Seminar 2020 on Joint Response to Terrorism under the New Circumstances released

Recently, CIIS successfully held the International Virtual Seminar on Joint Response to Terrorism under the New Circumstances. Luo Zhaohui, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, addressed the meeting as the keynote speaker. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Syromolotov Oleg Vladimirovich, Additional Secretary from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Nabeel Muneer, Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister Mohamed Fouad Ahmad, and Chairman of UAE International Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism Ali Rashid al-Nuaimi attended and addressed the seminar. Government officials, experts and scholars from 13 countries, including China, Russia, France, Egypt, Pakistan, UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Syria, participated in the virtual seminar. All parties reached broad consensus on strengthening international counter-terrorism cooperation under the current circumstances. In order to promote the exchange of counter-terrorism experience, CIIS hereby released the proceedings of the seminar.
