On July 15, 2020, CIIS jointly held a video conference with "Strategy and Future" institute of Poland on the theme "China, Europe and the World after COVID-19". The conference was co-chaired by CIIS Executive Vice President Dr. Ruan Zongze and CEO & Founder of the "Strategy and Future" institute Dr. Jacek Bartosiak. Dr. Jin Ling, Deputy Director of CIIS Department for European Studies, and Dr. Shen Yamei, Deputy Director of CIIS Department for American Studies attended the conference, and had an in-depth discussion with Polish scholars.
The participants conducted full discussions revolving around the topics about the impacts of the pandemic on the international situation, the relations between Poland and major powers such as the United States, Russia and China, Sino-US relations, and the cooperation initiatives such as BRI and Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries.
