The Department follows changes in internal & external policy of both EU and its member states. It also follows European integration process closely while evaluating its influence on outside world. Attention also has been paid to development of NATO and the way it affects international security. The Department also research on regions within EU such as Balkans. China's relationship with EU is high on the research agenda. It also aims to providing policy analysis and recommendations.
