The 2nd CIIS International Advisor Annual Meeting Held in Kunming

On November 4, the Conference on Enhancing China’s Role in the Region & The 2nd International Advisor Annual Meeting co-organized by China Institute of International Studies(CIIS) and Center for China’s Neighbor Diplomacy Studies, Yunnan University, held in Kunming. Amb. Qi Zhenhong, President of CIIS,and Prof.Li Chenyang, Vice President of Yunnan University, delivered opening remarks. Mr. Yang Yi, Secretary General of CIIS, Prof. Lu Guangsheng, Chief Expert of Center for China’s Neighbor Diplomacy Studies and other experts from CIIS and Yunnan University, as well as all CIIS international advisors attended the conference.

Amb.Qi Zhenhong issued the certificate for Amb. Khamsouay Keodalavong for becoming CIIS international advisor. During the conference, participants discussed in-depth on the topics of development, challenges and future prospect of China’s role in the region, bilateral relations between China and its neighbor countries.

After the conference, a delegation of CIIS international advisors led by Mr. Yang Yi visited Yunnan Academy of Social Science, Yunnan Foreign Affairs Office, BYD company, China Southern Power Grid and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
