President Qi Zhenhong Meets with Mr. Ben King, Deputy Secretary of New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade

On August 7, Amb. Qi Zhenhong, President of CIIS, met with the delegation led by Mr. Ben King, Deputy Secretary of New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on bilateral relations, security architecture in the Asia Pacific region, Indo-Pacific strategy, the Northeast Asia situation and China U.S. trade friction. Mr. Ben King was accompanied by Ms. Clare Fearnley, New Zealand Ambassador to China and Deputy Head of Mission, David Hope. Dr. Song Junying, Deputy Director of Department for Asia-Pacific Security and Cooperation, Mr. Hu Shaocong, Research Fellow of Department for American Studies joined the discussion.
