CIIS and Brookings Discuss China-U.S. Relations

On July 29th, China Institute of International Studies and Brookings Institution jointly held a closed-door session on U.S.-China relations: Road Ahead. The event took place in Washington. D.C.

Amb. Su Ge, President of CIIS, and Dr. Teng Jianqun, Director of American Studies at CIIS had discussions with experts at Brookings, on President Xi Jinping’s Visit to U.S. and hotspot issues concerning Sino-U.S. relations. U.S. experts included Kenneth Liberthal, Li Cheng, Richard Bush, Jonathan Pollack and David Dollar.

At a noon seminar open to the public, Amb. Su delivered an address. Over 60 participants attended the seminar which attracted enthusiastic media coverage.
