CURRICULUM VITAE

Dr. Cui Lei has been working in China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) since 2005. He is an associate research fellow specializing in US foreign policy and Sino-US relations. He served as Third Secretary at the Chinese Embassy in the UK from 2007 to 2010. He was a journal editor in Qingdao Academy of Social Sciences from 1996 to 1998. He has published dozens of academic articles and op-eds on international affairs, in addition to authoring a book on US nuclear strategies during the Cold War. Dr. Cui received his PhD (2005) and MA (2001) in International Politics from Peking University and BA (1996) in Foreign Affairs Management from Qingdao University. From 2002 to 2004, he studied international relations in Waseda University, Japan.
